DeviceNet on a Chip

You can now create a DeviceNet device in hours, not days, weeks or months using the Instant DeviceNet on a Chip – a simple, low cost solution. This small microcontroller comes preloaded with a complete DeviceNet application. It provides a means for end users to create their own DeviceNet device without having to write any DeviceNet software – not even application software!
To further meet your specific needs, we offer you three versions of Instant DeviceNet on a Chip to choose from. We offer our standard Instant DeviceNet chip, Instant DeviceNet-X (expanded with more I/O lines), and Instant DeviceNet-MB (Modbus RTU solution).
Each version of Instant DeviceNet on a Chip is a fully functional Group 2 Only Slave device. When I/O data is exchanged with a DeviceNet Master, the Instant DeviceNet on a Chip is a configurable IO slave device with:

• Up to 29 bidirectional I/O lines for up to 29 inputs, 29 outputs or any combination of 29 inputs and outputs
• Up to 4 Analog Inputs
• 2 Analog/PWM Outputs
• ASCII Send and Receive

And best of all, the Instant DeviceNet on a Chip is fully configurable. You can set the Vendor ID, Product Code and Serial Number. Devices using the Instant DeviceNet on a Chip become your device for all intents and purposes. It’s the best of all worlds.
